We wanted to thank the Clark family for spending the day Thursday with the boys at camp. Thanks to Rob Peacock for spending his Friday with the kids. We could not have attended camp this year without the help.

A new calender for the nest few months will be on line soon.
The Boys Scouts of America have just released the chess merit badge. Hopefully we can get a counlser for this fun merit badge. Also, look for Bro Bernhard to be passing out merit badge sign up sheets in the ward meetings. We have almost 130 merit badges offered and only 10-15 counslers for merit badges. This makes it really hard to get your son merit badges.
Also, a pow wow is being offered through Granger District. For info go to http://www.gslc-bsa.org/ on lthe side will be listed districts.. clink on that and go to granger district 13..go to events.. all of the class info is there along with pre requistes..This is a great opportunity for your son to get 4 merit badges. The cost is $5.
Also, the BYU pow wow is on Oct 15th and 29th...you can go online to sign up Sept 6th..

Welcome to the 11 year old Boy Scout Blog!!

Hopefully this blog helps with understanding what is happening in the 11 group. We have posted the summer calander and  a list of merit badge classes. We will be adding to the merit badge list as classes and counslers come available. If you know of any let us know.

We would like to try and get all boys the First Class rank by there 12th birthday. To do this we need the boys at scouts every wednesday night.
We are also trying to get the boys passed off on a couple merit badges during those meetings.. more to come later..
